Making Good: Tom Ward

Tom Ward is a farmer and owner of Open Gate Farm with his wife, Michele Mattioli. Tom and Michelle started Open Gate with three goals: farmsteading on a small, diversified family farm; providing access and education about the local food movement; and making their living completely as farmers. Tom traveled around the country in search of adventure and beauty yet he finds no greater joy than working as a farmer.
