Gallery/Museum
Squid and Beard is working to help art institutions tell the stories of both their spaces and the art that lives within (and beyond) their walls. Helping the art world bridge the gaps between their spaces, the artists, and their patrons by using different forms of media makes it possible to digitally associate the various components of the museum experience for the modern viewer. We strive to write the definition of the legacy of the modern art show; its “thumbprint” can be archived in the most technologically innovative ways available (digital panorama, documentary video, and more) which makes it possible to preserve the show, its social relevance, and to assert its place in the canon of art history for generations to come. Communication is key in matters of outreach, fundraising and archiving, so let us help create that dialogue among those integral parts of the gallery.
